My question is: Why is the template following the classification of Ehret 2001 and not Bender 2000? According to [Eastern Sudanic languages] (and my own impression) Bender is much more followed in the academic world - cf. Ethnologue. Did this practice happen by accident or by purpose? (the same question applies to the linguistic classification of a number of languages inside the infobox) --Gruenman (talk) 22:00, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2015-04-24T22:00:00.000Z","author":"Gruenman","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Gruenman-2015-04-24T22:00:00.000Z-Classification_Bender_vs._Ehret","replies":["c-Lestadii27-2017-08-24T19:26:00.000Z-Gruenman-2015-04-24T22:00:00.000Z"]}}-->
