There was a gap in the Pickup truck section where User:216.242.114.53 had deleted the Ram SRT-10. Since the page exists in WP, I restored it. And while I was here...
User:143.81.160.51 moved the SRT-4 from the Compact car to Sports car section, as seen here. It appears the SRT4 fits the classification of a sports car much more than it does a compact car, based both on its specifications and performance numbers, and on how Dodge marketed it. It also fits the WP classification of a "sports" car better than both the Avenger and the Stratus (by every measurement other than # of doors, in fact) and both those cars remain in the "sports" category. The SRT-4 article obviously needs to be edited to reflect these oversights.

Due to these facts it seems obvious that, based on other individual car classifications across WP, either the SRT4 should be moved into the sports car category, or others that meet the sports car definition much more loosely than does the SRT need to be moved out of it. The SRT-4 belongs in the Sports car sections just as much as the SRT-8 Charger & Magnum does, the SRT-4 is a trim level of the Neon, why should it be broken out? I'm afraid your reasoning and basis for moving the SRT-4 is mistaken, as the car was not "a trim level of the Neon", but in fact a wholly seperate production car that shared components, yet was badged, marketed, and sold seperately. This is evidenced by the SRT-4's own official technical literature from Dodge, and the word NEON never once appearing on any model of SRT-4 during its three years in production. (not to mention the plant where it was built called itself "the home of the Neon and SRT-4" from 2003-2005 in official pamphlets and brochures). The only words to ever appear on the body of the car were "DODGE", "SRT-4", and "ACR" (which WAS a trim level).

My reasoning for moving it was because it is a sports compact and not a sports car. If I thought of it as a trim level of the Neon, I would have removed it completely. At any rate, it was completely a marketing ploy, a Neon had long had negative connotations among performance car enthusiasts and they didn't want to write the car's death sentence before it hit dealership lots. It is a sports compact, not a sport car. Much like a SRT-8 Charger is a sports sedan and not a sports car. The word Mustang never appears on the body of a 2005 Mustang GT, but doesn't make it not a Mustang. The Chevrolet template does not put the Cobalt SS into the sports car line, the SVT Focus is not on Ford's sports car line. Why is Dodge any different? Also, what does the Stratus and Avenger have to do with this argument, I never said they were sports car, they aren't sports cars either. Might I strongly suggest that a method used in the {{Modern North American Ford vehicles}} template be used with a sports compact category.
