An anon editor seems determined to reduce the usefulness of the template by reducing the linked articles to the German abbreviations. This is completely useless to English readers, as it explains nothing about what the abbreviations mean. I noted in my edit summary, that if you compare this template to others, across multiple categories (Template:HitchhikerBooks, Template:Doctor Who, Template:Illinois Tollway and Template:Chicagoland expressways), virtually every linked article is either spelled out in full, or summarized with a shorter phrase. For maximum usability and readability, this template should stay close to the way it is. --JohnDBuell 20:44, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2006-10-18T20:44:00.000Z","author":"JohnDBuell","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-JohnDBuell-2006-10-18T20:44:00.000Z-Use_of_this_template","replies":["c-81.104.170.167-2006-10-18T21:22:00.000Z-JohnDBuell-2006-10-18T20:44:00.000Z"]}}-->

Your rude tone aside, it in no way reduces the usefulness of the template, makes it less ugly, and less intrusive. Other templates spell some things out in full. Your proposed layout provides an acronym and spells it out, doing so twice. Your point about it being useless to English readers is nonsense. The lightweight style of template, making use of width happily fits with the general style used for navboxes, as you can see. If you want to put in a fuller name, go ahead (though the length of the full names might be a problem), but I don't see the usefulness in having a big, chunky template replacing the function of the relevant section on the ARD article. It's big, it's cumbersome, and generally looks bad. 81.104.170.167 21:22, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2006-10-18T21:22:00.000Z","author":"81.104.170.167","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-81.104.170.167-2006-10-18T21:22:00.000Z-JohnDBuell-2006-10-18T20:44:00.000Z","replies":[]}}-->
