History
The station was formerly named as "Sijiqing". On 21 July 2023, the station was renamed as "Sijiqing Qiao".[4]
On October 25, 2021, Sui Zhenjiang, then vice mayor of Beijing, conducted a survey at the station, pointing out that the groundwater level of the station had risen by about 11 meters compared with the survey in 2017, which was a test for the safety of subway construction.[5]

Beijing Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. replied: After verification, the staff checked on site your work order to speed up the opening of Exit D of Sijiqing Station on Metro Line 12. Exit D of Sijiqing Station on Metro Line 12 is located on the east side of West Fourth Ring Road North (southeast corner of Sijiqing Bridge). Due to geological conditions such as the structure of the subsurface soil and the rise of groundwater levels, the construction of this exit is difficult and progress is slow. At this stage, it is not ready for opening. The entrance and exit of Sijiqing Qiao Station on the west side of the road on Line 12 has been completed.
