Sedeh Rural District (Persian: دهستان سده) is in the Central District of Arak County, Markazi province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Zamen Jan.[4] The previous administrative center for the rural district was the former city of Senjan.[5]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 8,724 in 2,543 households.[6] There were 8,966 inhabitants in 2,879 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 8,103 in 2,773 households. The most populous of its 14 villages was Gavar, with 2,578 people.[2]
