The Saddle Mountain Unified School District is the school district for students in pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade located in parts of Tonopah and Buckeye, Arizona . It serves these areas with four elementary schools (Ruth Fisher, Tartesso, Winters' Well, and Desert Sunset) and Tonopah Valley High School .
As of the 2022–23 school year, the district, comprising six schools, had an enrollment of 3,146 students and 158.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 19.9:1.[ 2]
