Vande Bharat Express train route in India
The 22478/22477 SMVD Katra - New Delhi Vande Bharat Express is India's 37th Vande Bharat Express train , connecting the states of Jammu and Kashmir , Punjab , Haryana and New Delhi . This will be the 2nd Vande Bharat Express train which will run on the New Delhi-Katra train line after 3 October 2019.[ 1] [ 2]
This express train was inaugurated on 30 December 2023 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing from Ayodhya Dham Junction .[ 3] [ 4] [ 5] [ 6] [ 7]

It is the thirty-fifth 2nd Generation Vande Bharat Express train which was designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory at Perambur , Chennai under the Make in India Initiative.[ 12]
