As a true freshman at Mississippi State in 2021, Thomas played in 10 games with three starts and had 18 receptions for 252 yards and five touchdowns.[2][3][4] He returned to Mississippi State as a starter in 2022.[5] Following the 2022 season Thomas entered the transfer portal and signed with Georgia.[6]
Georgia
On December 22, 2022, Thomas transferred to Georgia.[7]
On August 1st, 2024, Thomas was dismissed from the program due to felony false imprisonment and a misdemeanor count of family violence battery.[8]
On January 23, 2023, Thomas was arrested by university police on two charges including one felony. He was charged with felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor battery family violence 1st offense, according to the Clarke County Jail online booking report.[9] On July 26th, 2024, Thomas was arrested again on two counts of battery, both misdemeanors, and one count of second-degree cruelty to children, a felony.[10]
