Phillip Sarofim (born April 29, 1986) is an American entrepreneur, venture capitalist, executive and Chairman of Board of Meyers Manx.[1] Sarofim married Lori Krohn in 2014. He was also in a relationship with singer Avril Lavigne from 2018 to 2019.[2][3][4][5][6] He is also a car collector. His collection includes the vehicles like Lancia Stratos Zero,[7] Aston Martin Bulldog,[8][9] Isdera Commendatore 112i, a Ruf CTR, and an assortment of Meyers Manx dune buggies.[10] In 2023, the restored car posted over 205mph on a Scottish airfield.[11]

Early life

Phillip Sarofim was born on April 29, 1986, in Texas, United States. He is the son of Fayez Sarofim, an Egyptian-American billionaire and co-owner of the NFL's Houston Texans, and Linda Hicks Sarofim Lowe.[12][13] He grew up in Houston, Texas, and Hawaii. He attended Rice University.

Career

Sarofim is the founder and CEO of venture capital firm Trousdale Ventures. The company's portfolio includes Meyers Manx,[10] Lemon Perfect,[14] Super Coffee, and CesiumAstro.[1][15][16] He was one of the 2023 Tom Ford Plastic Innovation Prize judges.[17]
