Pegasus 2 (Chinese: 飞驰人生2; pinyin: Fēichí rénshēng 2; lit. 'Flying Life 2') is a 2024 Chinese sportscomedy drama film directed by Han Han and starring Shen Teng, Fan Chengcheng, Yin Zheng, Zhang Benyu and Sun Yizhou. The film tells the story of driving school coach Zhang Chi and potential rookie driver Li Xiaohai who set out to compete in the last Bayanbulak rally.[3] It is a sequel to Pegasus and was released on February 10, 2024.[4]
Plot
The former champion Zhang Chi (Shen Teng) became a driving school instructor in troubled times, relying on his reputation to make ends meet. Unexpectedly, the director of Laotoule Automobile Factory (Jia Bing), who is on the verge of suspending production, offers to sponsor Zhang Chi to form a team to compete in the last Bayanbulak rally. Faced with this overwhelming opportunity, Zhang Chi is ready to make a move, but no one knows the director's real motive.[5]
Zhang Chi summoned his old friends Sun Yuqiang (Yin Zheng) and Ji Xing (Zhang Benyu), and formed a team with the talented driver Li Xiaohai (Fan Chengcheng) and the rookie driving school student Liu Xiande (Sun Yizhou) who always failed to pass subject two. The grassroots team overcame many difficulties and rushed to the stadium with a lot of laughter.[5]
