As his parents are a Ghanaian father and a Filipino mother,[2] Tabinas is eligible to represent Ghana or the Philippines at international level. Despite being born in Japan, he is not eligible to represent the Japanese international team due to Japanese local rule.
Philippines
In December 2022, he made his debut for the Philippines in a 1–0 friendly defeat against Vietnam.
Personal life
He is the younger brother of fellow professional footballer Jefferson Tabinas.[3]
