Panitan , officially the Municipality of Panitan (Capiznon /Hiligaynon : Banwa sang Panitan ; Tagalog : Bayan ng Panitan ), is a municipality in the province of Capiz , Philippines . According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 42,565 people.[ 3]
Pronounced as Panit-an , it is 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from Roxas City .
