Nick Evers is an American football quarterback for the UConn Huskies. He previously played for the Oklahoma Sooners and for the Wisconsin Badgers.

Early life and high school

Evers attended Flower Mound High School located in Flower Mound, Texas. Coming out of high school, Evers was rated as a four-star recruit, where he also held offers from schools such as Auburn, Florida, Louisville, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Penn State.[1] Initially, Evers decided to commit to play college football for the Florida Gators.[2][3] However, Evers would ultimately flip his commitment to play for the Oklahoma Sooners.[4][5]

College career

Oklahoma

In Evers first collegiate season in 2022, he attempted just one pass for the Sooners which was incomplete.[6] After the conclusion of the 2022 season, Evers would enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[7][8]

Wisconsin

Evers decided to transfer to play for the Wisconsin Badgers.[9][10] During his lone season with the Badgers in 2023, Evers did not appear in any games.[11] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Evers once again decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[12][13]

UConn

Evers decided to transfer to play for the UConn Huskies.[14][15]
