Miyan Dasht Rural District (Persian: دهستان ميان دشت) is in the Central District of Jajrom County, North Khorasan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Amirabad.[4] The rural district was previously administered from the city of Eivar.[5] Prior to this, the capital of the rural district was the village of Kalateh-ye Baqer.[6]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 6,010 in 1,421 households.[7] There were 1,140 inhabitants in 323 households at the following census of 2011.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 1,227 in 402 households. The most populous of its 35 villages was Amirabad, with 428 people.[2]
