Mexico is scheduled to compete at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago , Chile from October 20 to November 5, 2023. This will be Mexico 's 19th appearance at the Pan American Games , having competed at every Games since the inaugural edition in 1951.
Taekwondo athlete Carlos Sansores and basketball player Karina Esquer were the country's flagbearers during the opening ceremony .[ 1] Meanwhile, basque pelota athlete Isaac Pérez and archer Alejandra Valencia were the country's flagbearers during the closing ceremony .
