At the Players Championship Finals, he beat defending champion Daryl Gurney 6-5 in the first round, but then lost to Gabriel Clemens.
In 2023, Woodhouse recorded his most successful year to date at the PDC. At the Players Championship Finals he also played his way into his first major quarter-final. These include wins over Simon Whitlock, Rob Cross and Chisnall again, before he lost to the German Gabriel Clemens. He threw another nine-darter at the Players Championship 24 against Richie Burnett.
