Almoez Ali is a Qatari professional footballer who represents the Qatar national team as a striker. As of 15 October 2024, he has scored 57 goals in 116 official international appearances since his debut on 21 December 2013 against Bahrain,[1] making him the country's all-time top goalscorer.[2][3]

On 16 June 2019, Ali scored in Qatar's 2–2 draw with Paraguay in the 2019 Copa América.[4] Ali was also included in Qatar's squad for the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup, scoring four goals in the competition to clinch the top scorer award.[5] In November 2022, he was included in Qatar's squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He started in all three group matches as Qatar made its first appearance at the tournament.[6]
