On 21 August 2019, Madu joined Danish Superliga club Odense on a one-year contract.[8] Madu was released by Odense on 22 May 2020, having only made one appearance for the club.[9]
In March 2021, Madu returned to Slovakia, rejoining Trenčín,[10] making his debut against Spartak Trnava on 3 April.[11] On 29 May 2023, it was announced that Madu would leave the club at the end of his contract.[12]
International career
He was selected by Nigeria for their 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics.[13]
