Bosnia and Herzegovina footballer (born 2007)
Kerim-Sam Alajbegović (born 21 September 2007) is a Bosnian footballer who plays as a winger for Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Born in Germany, he is a youth international for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Life and career
Alajbegović was born on 21 September 2007. He has regarded Germany international Florian Wirtz as his football idol.[2] He mainly operates as a left-winger. He can also operate as a right-winger or as an attacking midfielder.[3] As a youth player, he joined the youth academy of German side 1. FC Köln. In 2021, he joined the youth academy of German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen. He played in the UEFA Youth League while playing for the club. He started his senior career with them.
International career
Alajbegović has played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-15 football team, Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-17 football team, Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-19 football team, and Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-21 football team. He made four appearances and scored three goals for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-15 football team. He has captained Bosnia and Herzegovina internationally at youth level.[4]
