Kalashtar (Persian: كلشتر)^[a] is a village in, and former capital of, Kalashtar Rural District^[4] of the Central District of Rudbar County, Gilan province, Iran. The capital has been transferred to the village of Jamalabad-e Kuseh.^[5]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,272 in 409 households.^[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,314 people in 438 households.^[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 32 people in 11 households.^[2]
