In Ross-Simmons' freshman season in 2022, he hauled in 26 receptions for 426 yards and three touchdowns.[4] In week one of the 2023 season, Ross-Simmons notched five catches for 123 yards and a touchdown versus Washington State.[5] In the 2023 season, Ross-Simmons had a breakout season notching 45 receptions for 724 yards and three touchdowns.[6] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Ross-Simmons decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[7][8]
Syracuse
Ross-Simmons transferred to Syracuse Orange on April 24, 2024, to move closer to family.[9][10] Ross-Simmons was sidelined for the first half the season with an injury, and got his first start against Virginia Tech. He caught his first-ever reception for the Orange for a 55-yard touchdown and caught a 28-yard touchdown in the 4th quarter to give the Orange their first lead of the day.[11][12]
