A 15-room high school and cafeteria was built in Franklin in 1952.[5][6] A seven-room annex was constructed on the north end of the building in 1955. When the gymnasium burned in 1954, a new $157,000 gym was built to replace it.[6]
In 2022, plans were announced to demolish the existing campus and construct a modern 265,000-square-foot three-story school on the same land.[5][7] The new complex would support up to 1,400 students.[7] The estimated cost for the project is approximately $110 million.[8]
