Petrank has published more than ninety papers in top conferences and journals with more than 7000 citations and an h-index of 49 (computed by Google Scholar[4]).
He has served as the program chair of the International Symposium on Memory Management,[5][6] the ACM SIGPLAN/SIGOPS International Conference on Virtual Execution Environments (VEE),[7] the ACM SIGPLAN Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming (PPOPP),[8] and the ACM Symposium on Parallelism in Algorithms and Architectures (SPAA).[9] From 2009 to 2012, Petrank served on the Association for Computing MachinerySIGPLAN Executive Committee.
Professor Petrank is married to Yael Petrank,[10]
who holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering[11]
and is actively involved in the development of medical devices. Together, they are parents to three children: Dana, Maya, and Iddo.
