Harmon attended high school at Loyola High School. Coming out of high school, Harmon was rated as a three star recruit, the 59th defensive tackle, and the 1,077th best player in the class of 2021.[1] Harmon also held offers from schools such as Alabama A&M, Ball State, Central Michigan, Memphis, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Purdue, and Southern Mississippi.[2] Ultimately, Harmon decided to commit to play college football for the Michigan State Spartans.[3][4]
College career

During Harmon's freshman season at Michigan State in 2021 he played in four games to preserve his redshirt.[5] During Harmon's second season at Michigan State in 2022 he played in twelve games making five starts, where he tallied 30 tackles with three being for a loss, and two sacks.[6] In the 2023 season, Harmon posted 40 tackles with three and a half being for a loss, a sack and a half, a pass deflection, and a forced fumble.[7] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Harmon decided to enter his name into the transfer portal.[8][9] However a month later, Harmon decided to withdraw his name from the NCAA transfer portal.[10][11] Then a few months later when the spring season started, Harmon again decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[12][13]
