David Oduro (born June 12, 2006) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for FC Barcelona Atlètic from Accra Lions FC in the Ghana Premier League. Oduro began his career with Accra Lions U19 for the 2022-2023 season before being promoted to the senior team in 2024.Internationally, Oduro is also an U20 player for the national side.^[1][2][3]

Oduro was part of the Accra Lions youth development programme until he reached the first team during the 2022/23 season. He has played 50 games in the Ghanaian Premier League since his debut on 20 November 2022 when he was sixteen years, scoring one goal in a 1-1 draw against Bibiani Gold Stars.^[1][4]

On 30 August 2024, FC Barcelona announced the signing of Oduro from Accra Lions. He was signed to FC Barcelona Atlètic for the 2024–25 season where he will be playing with his countryman Abdul Aziz Issah. He was signed on a three year contract which will expire on 30 June 2027. Oduro became the first player to be signed from Ghana to the FC Barcelona.^[5][6][7][8]

According to Oduro, he said "this is the time for me to work hard, this is not the time to sleep. I have to work extra hard to be able to play in the first team".^[9] He promised Barcelona fans not to disappoint them and said his coming with fire because is always his dream to play in the first team and he will work hard to get there.^[10][11] Oduro named Alejandro Balde as his role model and said his willing to learn more from him.^[12][13] David Oduro finally clears all his bureaucracy issues and joins Barca Athletic.^[14] On 6 November 2024, David Oduro made his first debut game for Barca Athletic against Real Sociedad B.^[15]
