Daniel Johan Skaarud (born 10 September 2007) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a winger for Ajax.
Life and career
Skaarud was born on 10 September 2007 in Lørenskog, Norway. He was born to a Thai mother and a Norwegian father. He has regarded Argentina international Lionel Messi as his football idol.[1] As a youth player, he joined the youth academy of Norwegian side Lillestrøm. He started his senior career with Norwegian side Lillestrøm at the age of fifteen.[2] He made five appearances and scored zero goals while playing for the club. In 2024, he joined the youth academy of Dutch side Ajax.
Skaarud is a Norway youth international. He has played for the Norway national under-15 football team, the Norway national under-16 football team, and the Norway national under-17 football team. He made six appearances and scored one goal while playing for the Norway national under-15 football team. he made five appearances and scored one goal while playing for the Norway national under-16 football team.
Style of play
Skaarud mainly operates as a winger. He specifically operates as a left-winger. He is right-footed. He is known for his technical ability. He is also known for his speed.[3]
