Cedar Creek Township is one of eleven townships in Lake County, Indiana . As of the 2020 census , its population was 12,725, containing 4,710 housing units,[ 2] 2010 .[ 4]

History
Cedar Creek Township was established in 1839.[ 6]
The Buckley Homestead was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.[ 7]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 60.57 square miles (156.9 km2 ), of which 60.01 square miles (155.4 km2 ) (or 99.08%) is land and 0.56 square miles (1.5 km2 ) (or 0.92%) is water.[ 4] Lowell , as well the Census-designated Place Lake Dalecarlia .
Education
Cedar Creek Township, along with West Creek Township and Eagle Creek Township , is served by the Tri-Creek School Corporation which includes Lowell High School .
