was a French footballer who played as a midfielder . He was part of France's squad for the 1930 [ 2] and 1934 [ 3] FIFA World Cups

He played for Stade Olympique Paris Est,[ 4] FC Mulhouse ,[ 5] Amiens ,[ 6] Excelsior Roubaix ,[ 7] Red Star .[ 8]
International career
He played 11 matches for France between 1930 and 1934. His first cap was against Czechoslovakia on 11/05/1930.[ 9]
He was part of France's squad for the 1930 FIFA World Cup ,[ 10] and played one match in the group stage against Chile .[ 11]
His last cap was against Luxembourg on 15/04/1934.[ 12]
He was part of France's squad for the 1934 FIFA World Cup [ 13] but did not play in their only match in the tournament , a 3–2 defeat against Austria .[ 14]
