Bridge is a ward[2] and suburb of Newark-on-Trent, in the Newark & Sherwood district in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. It is one of the seven wards on Newark Town Council.

Geography

Newark Flat Crossing

The ward covers the north and northeastern areas of the town and is notable for being the site of both the Brownhills Roundabout[3] on the A46 road and the Newark Flat Crossing between the East Coast Main Line and Nottingham-Lincoln Line.[4]

Amenities

Bridge is mostly residential and industrial. It does have some retail centres including Newark Town Centre, a McDonald's on Lincoln Road[5] and Newark Northgate Retail Park also off Northgate, Trent Lane and Lincoln Road Bridge.[6]
