1951 British film by Marc Allégret
Blackmailed is a 1951 British noir thriller film directed by Marc Allégret and starring Mai Zetterling , Dirk Bogarde , Fay Compton and Robert Flemyng .[ 1] [ 2] It was adapted from a novel by Elizabeth Myers .[ 3] It was shot at Pinewood Studios outside London . The film's sets were designed by the art director J. Elder Wills .
The movie was known originally as Mrs Christopeher .[ 4]
