Local service district in New Brunswick
Benton was a local service district that was partially within Carleton County and partially within York County in the Canadian province New Brunswick . Straddling the boundaries of two parishes – Woodstock and Canterbury – the local service district was divided into two designated places by Statistics Canada .[ 1]
Demographics
In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada , Benton recorded a population of 83, a 18.6% change from its 2011 population of 70. With a land area of 12.46 km2 (4.81 sq mi), it had a population density of 6.7/km2 (17.3/sq mi) in 2016.[ 2]
