Bagsværd (Danish pronunciation: [ˈpɑwˌsveˀɐ̯] ) is a middle-class suburb located approximately 12 km northwest of central Copenhagen , in the Gladsaxe Municipality . Bagsværd houses the headquarters of Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk and biotechnology company Novonesis .
