Archang (Persian : ارچنگ )[ 3] was a village in, and the capital of, Shandiz Rural District of Torqabeh District , Mashhad County , Razavi Khorasan province, Iran .[ 4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,830 in 523 households.[ 2]
After the census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Binalud County.[ a] The rural district was transferred to the new Shandiz District.[ 6] Archang did not appear in the censuses of 2011[ 7] and 2016.[ 8]
