2024 Wyoming Cowboys football team
American college football season
The 2024 Wyoming Cowboys football team represented the University of Wyoming in the Mountain West Conference during the 2024 NCAA Division I FBS football season . Led by new head coach Jay Sawvel , the Cowboys played their home games on campus at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyoming .[ 1]
Previously the Cowboys' defensive coordinator for four years, Sawvel was promoted in December 2023 , following the retirement of ten-year head coach Craig Bohl .
