The 2002–03 California Golden Bears men's basketball team represented the University of California, Berkeley during the 2002–03 season .
Led by head coach Ben Braun , the Bears finished the regular season with a 13–5 record in the Pac-10, placing them in third. The Bears would receive an at-large bid into the NCAA tournament where they defeated NC State[ 4] before falling to Oklahoma[ 5] in the second round. The team finished the season with an overall record of 22–9.
