1983 PGA Tour
Golf tour season
The 1983 PGA Tour was the 68th season of the PGA Tour , the main professional golf tour in the United States. It was also the 15th season since separating from the PGA of America .
Changes for 1983
This was also the first season of the "All-Exempt Tour" which provided many more exemptions per year. For example, those that finished in the top 125 of the money list maintained full-time status rather than the top 60 which had been the historic benchmark.[ 1] [ 2]
