1976 European Formula Two Championship

The 1976 European Formula Two season was contested over 12 rounds. Équipe Elf Switzerland driver Jean-Pierre Jabouille clinched the championship title.[1] In a change from 1975 pure race engines was allowed and would be to the end of the formula in 1984[2]. For 1976 Renault-Alpine exploited this opportunity.
