Canadian actor
Éric K. Boulianne is a Canadian screenwriter and actor from Quebec.[1] He is most noted as the writer of the film Before We Explode (Avant qu'on explose), for which he was a Prix Iris nominee for Best Screenplay at the 21st Quebec Cinema Awards in 2019,[2] and as cowriter with Stéphane Lafleur of the film Viking, for which they received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay at the 11th Canadian Screen Awards in 2023.[3]
He has also directed a number of short films. In 2024 he entered production on Folichonneries, his feature-length directorial debut.[4]
He received two Canadian Screen Award nominations at the 12th Canadian Screen Awards in 2024, in the categories of Best Adapted Screenplay for The Dishwasher (Le Plongeur), and Best Performance in a Live Action Short Drama for Making Babies (Faire un enfant).[5]
