نقد الثقافة الغربية

نقد الثقافة الغربية هو النقد الموجه لـنمط الحياة الغربي الحديث. وقد يُنظر إلى الأمر كجزء من صراع الحضارات الأكبر[1] كما يكشف عنه جوزيف كونراد (Joseph Conrad) في روايته قلب الظلام.[2] ويميل النقد الحديث إلى تركيز الغرب بشكل أكبر على الأمور الدنيوية،[3][4] والطبيعة الديمقراطية للمجتمع الغربي. وعدم وجود التقليدية الثقافية وانحطاط الأخلاق وسيادة المادية،[5][6] والتي يعتبرها الكثيرون من الأمور الشائعة في الغرب.[7][8][9][10] ويرتبط نقد الثقافة الغربية في العقلية السائدة غالبًا بالحرب على الإرهاب والصراع المتواصل مع الأصولية الإسلامية،[11][12][13] في العالم الغربي، ويصدر هذا النقد عادة من مفكرين [14][15] أو داخل مجموعات تخوض خلافات سياسية.[16][17][18]
