راعي هرمس أو سفر الراعي لهرماس سفر مسيحي من القرن الثاني اعتبره عدة مسيحيين كتابا مهما وقبله بعض آباء الكنيسة القدماء كجزء من الكتاب المقدس. وكانت له أهمية كبيرة في القرنين الثاني والثالث.[1] استشهد به إرينايوس وترتليان كسفر مقدس وكان من ضمن العهد الجديد في المخطوطة السينائية ووضع بين سفر أعمال الرسل وسفر أعمال بولس في قائمة مخطوطة كلارومونتانوس، لكن اعتبره بعض المسيحيين القدماء أبوكريفا.

يتألف الكتاب من خمس رؤى واثني عشر أمرا وعشرة أمثال. يعتمد على التشابيه ويهتم خاصة بالكنيسة فيدعو للتوبة من المعصية التي أضرت بالكنيسة.

كتب السفر في اليونانية في روما وترجم للاتينية. بقي بشكل كامل باللاتينية فقط بينما فقد الخمس الأخير تقريبا من اليونانية.

الاراء حول سفر

توجد شهادات من القرن الثاني، إذ يستشهد به القديس إيريناؤس والقدّيس إكليمنضس الإسكندري والعلامة أوريجينوس، وينظرون إليه كسفر قانوني[2][3] إن كتاب "الراعي" لهرماس يُعتبر من أكثر الكتب شهرة إن لم يكن أشهرها جميعًا في الكنيسة المسيحية في القرنين الثاني والثالث وكذلك الرابع. لدرجة جعلت بعض علماء الكتاب يعتقدون أنه موحى به من الله.[4] أدرجت في بعض نسخ العهد الجديد وهي موجودة في المخطوطة السينائية[5]

حذفه من الكتاب المقدس

بعد أن اعتبر البعض كتب الراعي لهرماس، والديداكي، ورسالة أكليمنضس، ورسالة برنابا، ورؤيا بطرس، على أنها أسفار قانونية، أصرَّت الكنيسة على شرط أساسي للموافقة على قانونية السفر، وهو أن يكون الكاتب أحد رسل المسيح، وليس أي شخص آخر، حتى لو كان من الآباء الرسوليين، وهذا ما دفع الكنيسة لإخراج بعض الأسفار التي اعتبرها البعض في وقت ما أنها أسفار قانونية، وهذا عين ما جاء في الترجمة اليسوعية أيضًا في نفس الموضع: "ويبدو أن مقياس نسبة المؤلَّف إلى الرسل استعمل استعمالًا كبيرًا، ففُقد رويدًا رويدًا كل مؤلَّف لم تثبت نسبته إلى رسول من الرسل ما كان له من الحظوة. فالأسفار التي ظلت مشكوكًا في صحتها، حتى القرن الثالث، هيَ تلك الأسفار نفسها التي قام نزاع على صحة نسبتها إلى الرسل في هذا الجانب، وذلك من الكنيسة"[6]

مخطوطات

عُثِر على هذا العمل في المخطوطة السينائية (ألف) — وهي مخطوطة يونانية من القرن الرابع، بالإضافة إلى جدول محتويات المخطوطة البيزاي (د) — وهي مخطوطة يونانية من القرن السادس. وهي موجودة أيضًا في بعض الترجمات اللاتينية المبكرة للعهد الجديد. وقد نقله آبا الكنيسة أوريجانوس وإيريناوس على أنه كتاب مقدس. وقال يوسابيوس إنه كان يُقرأ علانية ويستخدم للتعليم في الكنائس. وقد نسبه البعض إلى نفس هرماس الذي ذكره بولس في رسالته إلى أهل رومية. هو كتب:[7]
