John Charles Manning (Pietermaritzburg, 1962 -) is 'n Suid-Afrikaanse plantkundige. Hy is sedert 1989 'n navorser in die Compton Herbarium van die Nasionale Botaniese Instituut van Suid-Afrika en het in die Suid-Afrikaanse Nasionale Biodiversiteitsinstituut van Kirstenbosch gewerk.
