Wrightia adalah sebuah genus tanaman berbunga dalam famili Apocynaceae.[1] Genus tanaman ini pertama kali dideskripsikan pada tahun 1810. Genus tanaman ini berasal dari Afrika tropis, Cina, Anak Benua India, Asia Tenggara, Papuasia, dan Australia. Semua spesies tanaman dalam genus ini berupa pohon kecil atau semak.[2] Genus ini dinamai oleh Robert Brown sebagai penghormatan untuk seorang dokter dan ahli botani Skotlandia, yakni William Wright (1735-1819).
