The World Checklist of Selected Plant Families (biasanya disingkat WCSP) adalah "program kolaboratif internasional yang memberikan tinjauan sejawat terbaru dan pendapat yang dipublikasikan tentang nama ilmiah yang diterima dan sinonim dari famili tumbuhan tertentu."[1] Dikelola oleh Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, tersedia online, memungkinkan pencarian nama famili, genera, dan spesies, dapat digunakan untuk membuat ceklis.
Proyek ini berawal dari pekerjaan yang dilakukan pada 1990-an oleh peneliti Kew Rafaël Govaerts pada pembuatan ceklis genus Quercus. Dipengaruhi oleh Strategi Global untuk Konservasi Tumbuhan, proyek ini diperluas. Hingga Januari 2013[update], 173 famili tumbuhan berbiji dimasukkan.[1] Cakupan famili monokotil telah selesai dan famili tumbuhan lain sedang ditambahkan.[2]
Ada proyek pelengkap yang disebut Indeks Nama Tumbuhan Internasional (International Plant Names Index, IPNI), di mana Kew juga terlibat. IPNI bertujuan untuk memberikan rincian publikasi dan tidak bertujuan untuk menentukan nama spesies yang diterima. Setelah penundaan sekitar satu tahun, nama-nama yang baru diterbitkan ditambahkan secara otomatis dari IPNI ke WCSP. WCSP juga merupakan salah satu basis data dasar untuk The Plant List, dibuat oleh Kew and the Missouri Botanical Garden, yang diresmikan pada tahun 2010, dan kemudian digantikan oleh World Flora Online.[3]
Pada akhir Oktober 2022, situs web WCSP, bersama dengan situs web World Checklist of Vascular Plants (WCVP), ditutup dan data dipindahkan ke database Plants of the World Online (POWO).[4]
