Universitas Negeri Florida (bahasa Inggris: Florida State University) adalah perguruan tinggi di Tallahassee, Florida bagian utara, Amerika Serikat. Universitas Negeri Florida adalah salah satu dari 2 perguruan tinggi negeri di Florida, lainnya adalah Universitas Florida. Lebih dari 40.000 mahasiswa kuliah di sini, biasanya setelah sekolah menengah umum pada usia 18 tahun. Sekitar 9.000 mahasiswa sudah bergelar sarjana dari sini, lalu melanjutkan ke tingkat yang lebih tinggi.
Universitas Negeri Florida berusia lebih dari 150 tahun. Biaya masuknya pada tahun 2006 adalah US$3.175 untuk mahasiswa asli Florida dan US$16.306 dari tempat lain untuk masing-masing waktu (sekitar 4 bulan).
Tim atletiknya Florida State Seminoles memiliki 17 tim regu dan memenangkan 2 kejuaraan sepak bola pada tahun 1993 dan 1999.
