Tomar (pengucapan bahasa Portugis: [tuˈmaɾ]) adalah sebuah kota dan munisipalitas yang terletak di Distrik Santarém, Portugal. Kota ini memiliki jumlah penduduk sekitar 20.000 jiwa, sementara jumlah penduduk munisipalitasnya pada tahun 2011 tercatat sebesar 40.677 jiwa.[1] Munisipalitas Tomar memiliki luas sebesar 351,20 km².[2]
Kota Tomar terlahir di dalam tembok Convento de Cristo yang dibangun atas perintah Gualdim de Pais, Grand Master keempat Ordo Bait Allah pada akhir abad ke-12.
Tomar adalah salah satu peninggalan bersejarah yang penting di Portugal dan juga merupakan kota Ordo Bait Allah terakhir yang diperintahkan pembangunannya. Tomar merupakan kota yang penting pada abad ke-15 ketika tempat ini menjadi pusat perluasan wilayah Portugal ke seberang laut di bawah kepemimpinan Henrique sang Navigator, Grand Master Ordo Kristus (penerus Ordo Bait Allah di Portugal).
