Theogonia

Theogonia (bahasa Yunani: Θεογονία, Theogonía, "Kelahiran para dewa") adalah puisi yang ditulis oleh Hesiodos sekitar abad 7-8 SM. Theogonia menceritakan penciptaan dunia dan asal usul para dewa.

Thegonia menjabarkan bagaimana para dewa bisa muncul dan menguasai alam semesta. Theogonia adalah kosmogoni mitologi Yunani yang pertama. Dalam Theogonia, diceritakan bahwa keadaan awal alam semesta adalah Chaos, yakni kekosongan tak terbatas dan dari sanalah segalanya bermula. Theogonia juga menjelaskan mengenai pergantian kekuasaan para dewa, mulai dari Uranus, Kronos, sampai Zeus. Selain itu, juga disebutkan mengenai Titanomakhia, pertempuran Zeus dan Tifon, hukuman Prometheus, kotak Pandora, dll..
