The Sun, The Moon & The Hurricane adalah sebuah film drama Indonesia tahun 2014 yang disutradarai oleh Andri Cung dalam debut penyutradaraan dan diproduksi oleh Goodsheep Production bekerjasama dengan Kinekuma Pictures. Film tersebut dibintangi oleh William Tjokro, Cornelio Sunny, Natalius Chendana, Gesata Stella, dan Paul Agusta. Menurut Andri Cung, judul tersebut mewakili beberapa fase kehidupan manusia, ada waktu-waktu yang diisi banyak masalah diibaratkan sebagai badai (the hurricane), ada masa dimana orang saat masih muda penuh dengan kisah cinta yang dramatis diibaratkan dengan matahari (the sun), dan masa dewasa yang lebih tenang, dan stabil ibarat bulan (the moon). Judul yang menarik untuk memperkenalkan film tersebut. Film ini tayang perdana nasional di Vancouver International Film Festival pada tahun 2014, dimana Andri Cung mendapat nominasi dalam kategori The Best New Director [1]

Sinopsis

Kisah perjalanan seorang pria yang menemukan dan kehilangan kebahagiaan, kasih sayang dan makna hidup. Bagaimana ia menyaksikan orang-orang di sekitarnya berubah, bagaimana ia sendiri pun berubah, hanya untuk beradaptasi, untuk bertahan. Bagaimana semua kejadian dalam hidupnya dan orang-orang yang ia temui membentuk kehidupannya dan takdirnya.

Ketika Rain (William Tjokro) berusia 32 tahun dan menengok ulang hidupnya, ia ingat bahwa semuanya berawal dari hari saat si misterius Kris (Natalius Chendana) membelanya saat ia dianiaya oleh teman-teman SMA-nya. Kris menuntut persahabatan, mendesak agar menginap, dan memutus teman-teman lainnya, meski ia sendiri sering keluar malam dengan gadis-gadis lain. Rain yang sadar dengan homoseksualitas dirinya, tidak bisa paham. Dan ia merasa terhempas, ketika tiba-tiga Kris menghilang.

Tapi, ia bisa mengatasi hal itu, dan mendapat pengalaman seksual ketika berkunjung ke Bangkok. Beberapa tahun kemudian, ia menerima undangan untuk mengunjungi Kris, yang sudah menikah dan tinggal di Bali.[2]
