The Paris Review adalah sebuah majalah sastra berbahasa Inggris perempat tahunan yang didirikan di Paris pada 1953[1] oleh Harold L. Humes, Peter Matthiessen, dan George Plimpton. Dalam lima tahun pertamanya, The Paris Review menerbitkan karya-karya buatan Jack Kerouac, Philip Larkin, V. S. Naipaul, Philip Roth, Terry Southern, Adrienne Rich, Italo Calvino, Samuel Beckett, Nadine Gordimer, Jean Genet dan Robert Bly.

Serial "Writers at Work" pada Review meliputi wawancara-wawancara dengan Ezra Pound, Ernest Hemingway, Truman Capote, Joan Didion, T. S. Eliot, Ralph Ellison, William Faulkner, Thornton Wilder, Elizabeth Bishop, dan Vladimir Nabokov, dan beberapa ratus orang lainnya. Serial tersebut disebut "salah satu konservasi budaya dan seni paling persisten dalam sejarah dunia."[2]

Markas besar The Paris Review berpindah dari Paris ke New York City pada 1973. Plimpton menyunting Review dari pendiriannya sampai kematiannya pada 2003; Lorin Stein telah menjadi penyunting sejak 2010.[3]
