The Last Exorcism adalah film horor tahun 2010 yang disutradarai oleh Daniel Stamm.[1] Film ini dibintangi Patrick Fabian, Iris Bahr dan Louis Herthum.[2]

Sinopsis

Film ini menceritakan seorang pendeta protestan, yang kembali kepada kepercayaannya dan berpraktik sebagai bagian dari dokumentasi sebuah pengusiran setan terakhir.[3] Dia mempercayai Tuhan, namun harus memercayai keberadaan Iblis.[4]

Plot

Pendeta Marcus Cotton, yang sudah melakukan pengusiran setan selama bertahun-tahun atas nama Gereja untuk uang, tidak memercayai proses itu. Dia ingin meluruskan penipuan ini kedalam kebenaran; ketika Cotton merawat seorang putri petani, keimanannya tengah diuji.

Produksi

Film ini pertama kali diputar pada 25 Januari 2010 sebagai bagian dari Sundance Film Festival 2010. Pada 12 Februari 2010, Lionsgate mendapatkan hak sebagai distributor Amerika Serikat[14] dan menempatkan rilis film ini pada 27 Agustus 2010.[15] Sebelum rilis Amerika, film ini akan hadir di LA Film Festival pada 17 Juni 2010.[16]
