Terminal Balongsari merupakan terminal penumpang tipe C dan area parkir kendaraan yang terletak di kawasan barat Kota Surabaya, tepatnya di Kelurahan Balongsari, Tandes. Lokasi terminal seluas ± 1.578 m2 ini terletak di kawasan permukiman di sebelah barat bundaran Margomulyo dan bersebelahan dengan Pasar Balongsari. Selain itu terminal ini terletak 1 km sebelah barat Stasiun Tandes serta terletak 2,4 km sebelah timur laut Terminal Manukan. Terminal ini berfungsi melayani moda transportasi umum berupa angkutan kota (bemo).[1][2][3][4]

Rute Angkutan Kota

Moda transportasi angkutan kota (bemo) menghubungkan Terminal Balongsari dengan beberapa kawasan di Kota Surabaya seperti Sawahan, Karang Menjangan dan Terminal Joyoboyo. Terdapat dua trayek angkutan kota yang mempunyai titik awal keberangkatan dari terminal ini. Angkutan kota ini dilayani oleh armada kendaraan bermerk Suzuki Carry (station) berpintu samping dengan livery berwarna berbeda pada setiap trayek. Berikut adalah lintasan trayek angkutan kota yang beroperasi di Terminal Balongsari.[5][6][7]

  1. Balongsari - Sawahan - Balaikota - Karang Menjangan
  2. Balongsari - Citra Raya - Joyoboyo
  3. FD09 Terminal Menanggal-Terminal Manukan

Selain itu, terdapat layanan angkutan kota trayek tujuan Terminal Manukan dan trayek tujuan Terminal Benowo yang melintasi depan area terminal ini (tidak masuk terminal).
